I am not even sure they think of themselves as “makers” or builders or something similar. Maybe they know, but do not say or do not use that term. Maybe they simply act all days, apply the same energy and efforts in the daily life, day after day.
But as far as I am concerned, I can say they are really a special kind of people. They are those who are building up a new generation, a future other than the old one, hopefully different and better.Apparently they are just as so many others. At first sight you do not even sense any difference. It takes some time to understand from very small things, sometimes a look, sometimes the way they talk or the argument or how they listen to you without interrupting, to realise that a difference exists, and this difference is quite strong, and important. They can be teachers, they can be volunteers in supporting the growth of a village or a community, they can be workers in very different ares. In effect, it does not matter what they are from the work point of view or what their position is inside the society. The difference, the real significant difference is how much they do for the education, the support, the capacity to create relations and tolerance in those who will be the new generation of the country.
